It is here and looks a nifty one too! Looking every bit like a PSP it still happens to be an Android Phone running on Android’s latest OS; Gingerbread 2.3. Previously Sony Ericsson wished to upgrade Xperia X10 and similar series with Gingerbread 2.3 but the Play will come loaded with it. The gamepad-slider-phone was secretly being manufactured way back since August last year and a prototype developed in January. Sony Ericsson went forward and named it Xperia Play when it was exhibited at the MWC this year. The gaming pad similar to that of Sony PlayStation is very evident. Complete with D-pad, iconic game keys, and two touch pads, this device is preinstalled with an app named PlayStation Pocket, which provides PlayStation One gaming for all gamers out there.
