Top Tablets to Come in 2011 – What to Expect?

The iPad 2 debuted just last week and like its previous contender, managed the scales in its favor as best tablet for consumers, while it did not disappoint us on functionality. Yet, it has entered a rather crowded market like its predecessor, if not more crowded than before.

Even yet, with more rivals, there are more Android tablets apart from the Motorola XOOM and similar iPad rivals that are soon to burst into the crowded tablet market. Here is a list of some of them that are likely to launch this year.

The HTC Flyer is 7 inch tablet designed like Smartphone, instead of customary tablet portrait design. It has a powerful 1.5GHz processor and digital ink technology allowing for screen pen writing. It doesn’t, however, run Android 3.0 Honeycomb and is expected in June.

The RIM PlayBook is an exceptionally gorgeous tablet that has great potential as a tablet and runs on Blackberry tablet OS, supports 4G, 1GHZ dual core processor; capacitive 7” touch screen and many more. Look for it in April!

The T-Mobile G-Slate is yet another Android Honeycomb tablet developed by LG and T-Mobile that runs on the carrier’s HSPA+ network. An 8.9 inch touch screen, dual core processors, dual cameras, and the whole premium features under the hood.

Samsung Galaxy’s second gen. tablet; the Galaxy tab 10.1 has upgraded and tuned many of its features. It is also running on Honeycomb now. Change of design, texture, memory, 10.1” display and heck what not! Check again this spring!
